Expedition Sea Kayaking is a whole separate paddling discipline which can involve the use of specialist boats. Some Club paddlers have their own sea kayaks and the club also has several boats available for members use. A favourite local trip is along the Seven Sisters and round the lighthouse beneath Beachy Head.

The Solent is also reasonably close and provides some interesting challenges.

Several members of the Club are particularly interested in sea kayaking and regularly paddle further afield, off the coast of Anglesey, around the Lleyn Peninsular etc. In recent years the Club has also visited Cornwall, Norfolk, North East England, Pembrokeshire, Scotland and Jersey.

The Club welcomes new members interested in sea paddling, or paddlers from other areas who just want to join one of our trips. The Club can coach people to 4 star (sea) level and beyond and can help train those who want to instruct on the sea.
