We meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from about 5.30/6.00pm for club sessions and on Sunday mornings at 10.00 am. Weather conditions determine what activity goes on and a session may be cancelled if necessary. Membership includes use of the Clubs facilities, boats and equipment. If you would like to become a member of the Club please come and meet us during Club session. Prospective Junior members, under the age of 16, must be accompanied by their parent or guardian.(child protection policy) To cover insurance requirements, all prospective members are required to complete the following process before paddling with the Club:

  • Read and acknowledge the Club rules
  • Pay membership fee
  • Produce a Photo ID and proof of address (parents ID for juniors)
  • Complete a membership application form

Beginners try out

If you want to try paddling before becoming a full member please come down to a beginners session (see opening times and have a go. We can offer you a reduced day/try out membership fee, £5 for juniors or £12 seniors, which is deducted from the full membership fee should you decide to become a full member.

Membership fees for 2012

Membership fees are the Clubs main source of income and it is through these that the bills are paid and all the equipment is purchased. Membership fees for 2012 have gone up slightly but they have remained the same for several years and are still very reasonable especially when you consider that they allow you to use the Club as many times as you like and they include free coaching and use of all the Club equipment.

The 2012 fees are as follows:- Senior £90.00 Family £160.00 Junior (under 18) £40.00
